Thoughts on Weather

How come all the huge storms nowadays take place during the fall? What is this, the weather channel holiday special?!

The End of Days

The moon and the stars where in the position of the end of days.
My fragile young life crushed by the stars.
All I really wanted was to be loved by her.
Each day, I would say to myself that tomorrow I would tell her.
That for the final days, we would be together.I knew I had to tell her today.
I ran across the barren streets of New York.
I came to her door, and prepared to state my affection.
Then my short life was ended by the stars,
Frozen in romance, forever and always.

Danganronpa: The Animation Review

If you like anime, Danganronpa is a poignant , unique study on hope, loss, and friendship. If not, Danganronpa is about stereotypical sexy anime teenagers being mutilated horribly by their own clitches. Thats my mothers point of view.

The story follows boring yet utterly lovable protagonist Makoto Naegi, who gets picked to enter the worlds greatest highschool, hopes peak academy. To bad he’s forced to participate in a game of murder and witness the death of his friends. Not so lucky now, Naegi. Oddly he doesn’t seem to mope about it, and attempts to cheer everyone up.
What follows are six heartbreaking yet funny chapters, each unique. I cried the most in 2 and 4, but 1 is a great introduction to the kill or be killed world of the Anime. And 6 has a swell twist.
Its main flaw is its insanely Japanese. Your girlfriends dead, but look! The bear can sing. I have no problem with the actual humor, as it balances the despair inducing horror quite nicely. But does the hulking fighter girl need an upskirt shot?
The desings of the charecters are swell too, ranging from stylish to wild. Overall, a design students paradise. The enviroments need a little bit of work though.
And did I mention its based on a video game? Yup.

Final thoughts :Suprisingly, I loved every moment of danganronpa. Its hopelessly clitched, but the incredible writing, engrossing mysteries, heartbreaking saddness, and quality animation make up for that.
4.5 out of 5.

Blackrock Interception

Through wind, rain, and sleet, the train chugged on. The tears chugged on. Inevitably reaching death. No stop. No rest. Just an infinite descent into heaven. My son had failed the test. He wasn’t one of the. He wasn’t Cheryn. We weren’t Cheryn. They didn’t care where we where raised. They didn’t care who we knew. We where the enemies, and we must be eliminated.
They didn’t even give him a choice. One day, during class, they just took him by the arm, and led him to the test room. I wont let them kill us. I wont give up. In 15 miles, Blackrock Interception
would appear. Its a 20 foot point, where two trains are 2 feet apart. The only point like that in the entire trip. I’m going to jump to the other train. I don’t care where it leads, but better than
not having a head.
The worst part was getting the keys. I had to leave my son in his room, and told him to lock the doors. Every sound could be the Cheryn purists. Every friend could be a traitor. My son must have been terrified.
I snuck up to the office. The guard was in a nearby room, smoking a cigarette. I scurried to the desk. And frantically grabbed at the keys. No luck. I tried again. I grabbed them, but I nearly toppled the desk. The guard stoop up,
and frantically ran towards me. I scurried away, almost tripping. But I escaped with the keys.
I ran to my sons room. He was awake. “You ready?” I asked. “ Yeah mom” he answered, pretending to be brave. “ My little man.” I said, and weakly punched him in the chest. He laughed. “ Tomorrow we escape. ” I assured him. And the morning came.
I woke up. We overslept. I shrugged my son awake. And we got moving to the storage compartment. It had doors, but very little guards. A man spotted me on the way there. “Hey, what are you doing” he asked. We kept on walking. He asked again. We walked faster.
He walked faster. We broke into a sprint. In the blink of an eye, at least 5 guards where following.
We jumped into the storage room. I tried to hold the door shut. But they kept ramming it harder. “Open the door” I yelled at my son, my voice stricken with panic. “Witch key do I have to use?” he responded, with even more panic in his voice. “ The third one!” I shrieked, rolling my eyes.
He got it open. The wind was gusting through the room. 30 seconds until the interception. I broke from the door, yelling. But they caught me mid sprint. They where running after my son now, too. “NO” I screamed. “I cant go without you” My son cried.
“Yes you can. Just jump” I cried. And he did. They almost caught him too. He got on the train.
He was safe. Slowly moving away from me. His future is uncertain, but it exists.
